I am very passionate about the amazing sound that can be created on well played flutes, clarinets and saxophones.  Many players seem to be content with a hissing sound or squeaks, thinking this is normal.  However, the hissing sound can often detract from the players ability and beauty of the piece they are performing.

 

I have been teaching the clarinet, saxophone and flute for 20+  years with students ranging from 5 years to 80.  I teach at home in my studio as well as in primary and secondary schools in Milton Keynes.

 

Over the years I have been tutored and helped by many great teachers including Gordon Lewin, Peter Moore and Graham Lyons.
